Kelcey Kintner is Senior Vice President for Red Banyan PR, an international PR and crisis management firm. She leads the firm’s specialized crisis response team. A former on-air television reporter, she has an exceptional talent for controlling and resolving high-profile and sensitive crisis situations.  Kintner’s front-line experience helps her craft content that resonates with reporters and drives coverage. She also provides clients with media training, teaching them how to navigate difficult interviews and public speaking engagements.

She also writes for US Weekly Fashion Police. She writes fashion jokes and you’ll see her picture right there in the back of the magazine.

For many years, Kintner worked as a freelance writer and online influencer. She wrote at Alpha Mom, SheKnows, The Huffington Post , Today Community and her own blog, The Mama Bird Diaries. She has been a featured author in five anthologies, focused on the gen x parenting and female market.

As an influencer, she developed brand strategies and creative public relations campaigns for companies (Fortune 500 and other businesses) to promote their brands and their message. She spent 5 years working with Procter & Gamble on Luvs diapers. Kintner also worked on campaigns for Loews Hotel, Marriott, Hilton, Glad, PediaSure, Britax, Vaseline, Kmart, Pepperidge Farms, Shutterfly, Allstate Insurance, Kellogg’s, A&E Television Networks, The American Heart Association and many others.

Kintner helped companies expand and build their social media outreach through Twitter parties and Facebook/ Instagram/ blogging campaigns. She develops new business by finding and reaching out to companies who are a good fit for her online audience.

Kintner is a former TV reporter, anchor and booker. She also spent several years working for the White House.

She has an undergrad degree from Tulane University and a masters from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. She’s been nominated for an Emmy. And won lots of awards that weren’t Emmy’s. She’s got mad typing skills. She has a high school typing award to prove it.

As a blogger, Kintner was named one of top 100 Mom Blogs and top 50 Moms on Twitter by Babble.

She has five kids, two bunnies and two fish. Bunnies and fish are very quiet. The kids, not so much.
